One year ago ..
We were in Frankfurt followed by Brastislava.
Anyone that has been to Frankfurt would know that its not that great of a city, however the Radisson SAS had a lovely new 'round' hotel. (a suite below)

Of course I was hanging out with Tom - the greatest host of all time - for two days whilst David was in Singapore.. attempting to get on a flight.

Tom is the one in Green and this photo of me is taken after many many drinks in the hotel bar after the worst trip in the history of man kind from Sweden to Frankfurt. There were buses, planes, the great tripod disaster of 2006, buses and snow and then three airports, a phone that died and then a cab driver that laughed when 20 Euros flew out the window.. and tears.. followed by LOADS of Vodka and laughter - thank you Tom. xxx

Bratislava was cold and third world, but very interesting with David labelling the train journey (avec checkpoints and machine guns) between there and Vienna one of the highlights of the trip.
The Radission SAS hotel in Bratsilava was one of Davids favourites due to its Older style.. I just liked the pretty bow they put on just for us.

David was the coldest he had ever been as we walked around town
